Meet Steven L. Martin
Committed to Exceptional Dentistry
Dr. Martin grew up in Longmont, Colorado, where his father—an orthodontist—inspired him to enter the dental field. He attended Springfield College in Massachusetts, earning a B.A. in Biology in 1989, and was an All-Conference swimmer all four years, winning the prestigious C. J. Smith Award for most points scored over a collegiate career. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1993 and opened his practice in Johnstown, Colorado, in 1995. Dr. Martin has extensive postgraduate continuing education, including occlusion (how teeth come together and function) from the Dawson Academy; advanced restorative and esthetic techniques from Drs. Robbins and Rouse at CORE Dentistry; and implant placement and restoration from Nobel Biocare. He is a long-time member of the Centennial Dental Study Club, based at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, where he treats patients and presents cases; he has served twice as president and been a member for 20 years. Outside the office, Dr. Martin enjoys traveling, cars, and cheering for the University of Colorado football team—Go Buffs!
